You’ll be guided by mentors, meet inspiring leaders, and form lasting friendships. Your hard work will be celebrated at a formal gala, where you’ll be presented to the community with honor.

For Participants

Be a high school junior or senior during the 2025/2026 school year
Adhere to the principles and practices as outlined in the Nosce Te Ipsum participant packet
Be recommended by a member of the Nosce Te Ipsum committee, church, or school official
Plan to attend university/college following the completion of your high school education
Complete the interview process on Sunday, October 5, 2025

Attend and be punctual at all activities – including meetings, workshops, outings, and promenade rehearsals.
Email a biography for the souvenir journal before Sunday, October 19, 2025, to cotillion@riversidenashville.org (450 words maximum – guidelines in Participant Packet Appendix)
Bring 3 photos (baby, middle school age, and current) on Saturday, October 18, 2025 (please write your name on the back).
Create and type the letter to solicit donations for scholarship monies (sample letter in Participant Packet Appendix).
Submit a draft of the scholarship donation letter for review no later than Sunday, October 26, 2025.
Mail, email and/or text donation letters before Thanksgiving.
Select an escort by December 1, 2025, and provide the escort with program and attire guidelines. The escort must be the opposite gender of the participant.
Raise a minimum of $1,500 in donations for the journal on or before January 25, 2026.
Sell or purchase at least eight (8) tickets to the formal event by March 1, 2026.
Write and email the Formal Presentation (to be read at the formal event of 180 words or less) on or before February 22, 2026, to cotillion@riversidenashville.org (full guidelines in Participant Packet Appendix).
Follow the attire guidelines listed on the calendar for all activities and the formal event.

Each Debutante/Beau should select their sponsor and submit the Sponsor Information Form by Saturday, October 18, 2025.
The Sponsor’s contact information (name, number, email) must be provided to the Sponsor Coordinator.
The Debutante/Beau can ask the Sponsor Coordinator to assist in selecting a sponsor if needed.
As an escort in the Nosce Te Ipsum Cotillion & Beautillion, you play an important role in one of the most memorable events of the year. You will accompany a Debutante or Beau at the formal gala, sharing the stage as they are presented to the community.
Along the way, you’ll participate in select seminars, workshops, and events designed to build confidence, sharpen social skills, and expand your network.
